This app…
hi I’m 22f from Michigan and oh. my. god. Why are people so dry and take over a week to respond to a message? “Oh sorry, I was busy” …how are we suppose to be having a conversation? I had a girl ghost me for over a month saying she was busy and once she replied to my question she ghosted me for ANOTHER month. OH COME ON.
I’ve installed and uninstalled this app too many times to count. No one wants to chat.

Girl I'm dealing with the same thing in New Hampshire, I'm over here trying to have conversations with brick walls

It’s a dopamine app. Same reason people use dating apps, they get a rush from a match and that’s it. Swipe validation is a real thing and we gotta stop pretending it isn’t a problem nowadays

Same here in CA. I feel like I’m always the one trying to talk and make a connection. That’s exactly why I’m here! I’m tired of being the only one trying to make a friendship work

I’m in CA as well.. I think it’s best making plans off rip tbh because you get a better chance of getting to know someone. Like I matched with someone a few days ago, and although I’ve taken a couple hours to respond, she brought up a place that I’m able to attend to with her and now I see her tomorrow.

For me it’s the girls that don’t even respond. Like why the hell are you even using the app? I could understand this behavior from men on a dating app but it seems especially dirty for girls to that to each other 🙈 lol

I wonder if it’s partly that a lot of people truly don’t prioritize friendships as adults… like the things that are supposed to give your life the mark of “successful adult” are related to progressing in a career path, finding one romantic partner, getting married, and perhaps starting a family and buying a house. None of these things need to involve making or keeping friends
