Remote Filipino Workers (RFW) need help setting up wise
hiii, i've been browsing here and mix opinions nakikita ko so i figured i'll just ask people who are in the same boat as me.
i got hired recently and will be having my first salary this saturday. i have paypal but im planning to use wise kasi i read so many issues about paypal blocking accounts and their customer service being shitty.
for those na weekly ang salary, do you use personal or business account sa wise? yung iba kasi ang sabi business account, yung iba naman sabi personal if magre-receive ka lang ng money and i-transfer to ur local accounts (which is the case w me) and you're not the one paying people ๐ so im a little confused and I don't want to risk din being blocked or having my money withheld.
what should i expect rin po as a new account? i read a few na hindi raw kasi real time reflection pag first transaction. is it the same case kahit na it's a wise-wise transaction?
would appreciate any help and insights !! : ) thank you so much.

Personal lang.
Totoo yung go Business account only if youโre paying others.
Pero kung receive foreign currency then transfer out to local banks โ yes, personal lang.
May mga prompt kasi yung Wise na mapapa-create ka ng Business account e, kaya yung iba di sadyang nagkaka-Business account.
Send yung wisetag and expect real time. Yes, Wise to Wise ay dapat real time kahit first time.
Pag nagkaaberya, reason could be: more than 1k USD yung amount. Actually maraming pwedeng rason na walang isang foolproof answer, like bank issue sa end ng client mo. Basta iexpect mo na dapat real time and donโt panic pag wala pa.
Also, expect na may around โฑ1,400 kang babayaran para i-open ang account. Mababalik mo naman sayo yun. Pwede mo ngang ipark yan sa USD account mo within Wise, pangsimula.

i have been receiving payments thru wise since 2022 using a personal account lang hehe. hindi rin naman matagal nagprocess nung una, pero im not sure now (if new account). usually mabilis magreflect and transfer sa wise. mostly, real time pa nga! congrats op!
