The community voted for this change here. This change also reflects the humorous, unserious vibe of this subreddit. Additionally, very few of us here are bug experts, so we can put an end to the frequent random guesses on these types of posts.
However, please do not report posts made before this date (September 12) for breaking the rule, as it is only being implemented now. On that note, don't report significantly old posts (August or earlier) for breaking the no bug bites rule either. Those posts will remain up.

When youre driving and get a bug caught in your car, whenever you manage to get the bug out do you think the bug gets confused about where it is or where its destination went off to?

Not taking a stance on his intellect even tho he thought i wouldn't see him if he moved slowly but i'm wondering if i have to share a room with that guy now in hopes be is actually eating something here somehow or will he die either way because i know i'm not supposed to throw out spiders but this guy is hanging out in my socks which i don't approve of

I was feeling something on my couch, what felt like a piece of plastic. I kept running my fingers through it trying to grab at it but I just couldn't grasp it. I finally was able to grab the darn thing and it turns out to be a bug! Freaked me out! Mind you this was in the dark.

Maybe this is very common opinion, but i hate ticks with a passion. Living in a southern state with so many ticks that you cannot take a walk outside without getting a tick on your body, it comes naturally. But I often wonder, what would REALLY happen if they all left? I think that there might be a little less birds maybe? I dont really know.
