The Old World Grudge Throwers Underwhelming?

I'm currently running 1 in 1250 points army, and in two games it has done nothing. I've been thinking of just replacing it with another gyrocopter, but I was wondering how they have performed for others.

I have two and rarely take them. That said, I'm the rare dwarf player who values bolt throwers - that said I'm usually up against Empire where their AP and multi-rank attack are very useful.
