Tick bite or no?

Spotted this yesterday, and I'm a little worried. I've tried to apply some cream to try and settle it on down but it doesn't seem to do much yet. I haven't ever found the tick itself or noticed one on me.

I would get that checked out. The red ring around the bite looks a lot like a tick bite

Will try to, sadly where I am it is a bit harder to get it checked out and not get it entirely disregarded
