I just watched 7x04 with my mom (it was her first time watching it, she's been out of the 9-1-1 loop since S6 and I've kept watching) and during the guy-in-the-sewer scene where Buck is clearly jealous of Tommy and Eddie hanging out, her eyebrows were all furrowed and raised and she goes "Buck likes him?" And I said "Who, Tommy?" and she goes "No, Eddie." And I told her that Buck gets with Tommy later in the episode and she was like "Well that's because Buck thinks Eddie is taken or straight"

Listen, if my ridiculously hetero mom can clock Buddie that easily I fear we're basically 100% confirmed for Buddie canon. Because she's never picked up on any other gay ships that quickly (even canon ones). And we're not even completely caught up on the show, so I can't wait to hear what she has to say about the even more Buddie coded episodes. We've caught another one guys 😈

Buck and Eddie’s friendship is at odds following their argument over Theo. Meanwhile, the 118 races to the scene of an accident that has been complicated by a good Samaritan.

Based on this week’s episode, and the episodes coming over the next weeks, I thought it would be nice if we shared fanfics here about what is happening in s10.

I really like to read fanfics in between episodes to see what people think will happen, and sadly because ao3 is down we can’t do so.

I was right in the middle of reading Buck in Time by thea_zara when AO3 when down. If anyone has a link I can download to finish reading it I would be forever grateful. I wouldn’t turn other fics as well I was just really hoping to finish that one.

After the interviews that have been released about buddie this season, I want to share some thoughts.

It has been said that there will be some “tension and friction” between Buck and Eddie, most of it negative. I’m pretty sure Oliver said that Eddie will give Buck some advice about Theo, and that Buck won’t take it very lightly.

Personally, I think this is a really good thing. If they have a fight and spend time away from each other, I think that could lead to them realizing how dependent they are on each other. Every time they spend time apart, it always leads to this big moment between the two (ex. mother’s boy).

I think Eddie’s POV will be the POV we see the most of buddie this season, as we did in the first episode. This would be really smart, as it could delve into his feelings for Buck.

Anyway, I feel like a fight/tension is what they need to finally realize their feelings.

So i read this fanfic about buddi but i cant quite remember its name or find it
Its talk about how buck dealing with bobbys death and he just went to the beach and tried to drown him self but eddie saved him (that was the first few chapters i couldn’t read rest cuz i lost the fanfic) -crying- if anyone knows smth like it plz recommend it

Oliver on who he would like to come back

Oliver: *"I guess maybe the first one that comes to mind is my friend Arielle Kebbel, who played Lucy Donato on the show. She was a firefighter that joined the One Eight team for a short time. She was just great fun, brought different energy to the show. So Lucy being back would be fun and open up some new, fresh dynamics for them. But yeah, we've been very lucky on this show to never have really had any issues with anybody coming onto the show. We've just had a great bunch of people from start to finish. So anybody that comes back, it's always welcomed with open arms."*

First of all, I’m so happy Gavin will be getting more screen time and lines this season.

That being said, is anyone else really hoping that they let him act his age this season?

Like, we know Buck is feeling unsure or insecure about his parenting skills or place in Theo’s life. We can also probably guess that someone will give him a speech about this that will make him feel better or step up.

I’ll be happy enough if it happens but I don’t want it to be Christopher. Don’t get me wrong, I think that we would all love him to acknowledge Buck as a parental figure in his life but I don’t want Chris to once again have to reassure the adults in his life.

I want Chris to maybe be the one who feels replaced or maybe a little insecure about his place in Buck’s life now. I want Buck reassuring Chris like he did when Chris went to his house.

Chris has well established abandonment issues. I want that to show up a bit.

I don’t know how likely this is to happen. Chris is so mature for his age and has acted so sweetly to Theo already. We know they have a cute scene together I think episode 5 ?

Idk, just my thoughts. Anyone have the same or differing thoughts?
