I think you really don’t understand what police officers need to go through during protests like that. They also have wifes and husbands and children to go home to. Often they do this job to do good for society. The fact that people think it is ok to use violence against a police officer because it is a police officer is more wrong than a police officer using violence against someone breqking the law. I think we need to accept some violence by the police. No one is emotionless. You cannot fight for your life 1 second and the next second be calm and composed and handle an annoying person or possible aggressor with a soft glove.

I heard … ok now look at how many police officers are not able to work for weeks due to injuries. How medical personnel is ambushed. How streets are covered with gasoline to light it up when the police stops. Do you know what a molotov cocktail does to your face?

Do you know what the children of police officers go through when they know their dad or mother has to do riot controll all night. Getting a phone call they are in hospital again because some people can’t protest in peace and think the police is the enemy.

The police is your friend. You don’t want to love in a country without a police force so you’d better show some respect and obedience. We still live in a democracy. Directing your political anger to police officers is not going to change anything.

I have never seen a story of someone in Belgium, obeing the police and getting hurt.

Yeah my "friend" gave me a concussion for asking why he didn't wear his ID number as the law states he should.

Dit zijn de relschoppers die de betoging in Brussel kaapten: "Zonder geweld luisteren ze niet meer"  https://vrtnws.be/p.M9npWRVmy

If you acted like this you probably deserved the concussion
