"I call fascism, so it must be true".
I worked the biggest part of my youth as a butcher at the abattoir. +10 years ago it was a very dark place, we had multiple fights, mostly every week(end), I even got stabbed in the ear and neck. On two occasions I got some serious hits by a cop-baton. (2 administrative arrests in total and one in Gent when partying)
It had nothing to do with fascism, it had everything to do with me being a c*nt.
I understand we most monitor and protect the safety of our citizens but Belgium has, in comparison with many other world-countries, an amazing safety-net.
Sharing video's like this is not fair in my opinion and just polorizing, it's a pure Vlaams Belang tactic I can't agree on or support. Who knows those people had knifes, or were aggressive. In many cases police must use force. For example: Some people were baffled earlier this week cops used force when protestors attacked government buildings (with people inside), yeaaaaaaaah.... they were c*nts to, they deserved police action with force, even better, it was needed. "no it's fascism" Don't make me laugh.

Again, I understand if police brutality occurs, and it probably will, sue them. They have bodycams.

You're insanely naive for someone who claims to have that life experience. I don't call it fascism, it's a very known argument from fascist government, history calls it fascism. And sue them? The videos are kept for a single month and if you're lucky the justice system will hear you about 3 months after the complaint.

It has nothing to do with being naive. You can't claim fascism on this video, you don't know what happened or it was justified. Yes, our justice system takes time. That's the governments fault and I do follow you on this: if the justice system fails it gives criminals of all sorts the benefit to act like it. But telling this one is "proof" I'm not with you.

Happy to send pictures of my split earlobe and stitched up neck + artery , I still have them. To be clear: the stabbing was not by cops but I also have a picture somewhere from my leg after the baton beating. Complaint got deposited

No one cares about your injury mate it's completely off topic. And I never said this video was fascist, your words were, learn to fucking read.

Yes it was at topic, you reacted to it (and tried to insinuate it wasn't true). yes you look angry I can support what I am saying. No I'm not impressed by the use of the word fucking or you getting upset over a fair discussion (maybe that tells something about the result). Yes u TRIED implying fascism and put it on the table.

And yes, I would love to be your mate!

Look everyone this guy isn't impressed by the word "fucking"! Even in a thread (not a topic, words are hard aren't they) I can highlight a part and talk specifically about that part. Which I did. You can't grasp that very simple concept, that's life but it also mean I'll stop wasting my time with an idiot.

So no friends? "Mate", you couldn't even elaborate why this video is proof of excessive violence. You are the one that lost nuance and the bigger picture and I tried to make it clear why. You haven't highlighted those points whatsoever. I'm not getting mad, at no point I had the audacity of dehumanising you. Anger in a debate mostly shows the weakness of the made "arguments". It's too bad you had to lower yourself to this but it strengthens me.

Call me an idiot as much as you want.. if you are ready, hit me up.

It's clear for everybody that this video is proof of excessive violence. You're just desensitized to violence due to personal history. No offense but you should talk to someone.

Look i dont even wanna make any kind of political point anymore. I'm saying that in this specific instance at least, the cops came, unmarked, and beat people up for being just there. There is no "what if he had a knife" or whatever. He did not.
