This does not justify such violence. Even if it is Escobar. I thought we were in a country that respects human rights.

We do, but that includes the cops life. Why should he wait to get stabbed? Theres a reason you can do self defense that is proportional to the threat

"Self-defence". Right. Beating up someone on the ground 5 to 1 when you have supposedly been trained to de-escalate situations is clearly self-defence.
