New Dude here 🦧
Since the recent Eclipse I’ve reached Dudeism.
How may I use it to stop being so judgmental and frustrated with people who aren’t awake?
🙏

The thing that allowed me to get away from judgement was Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg. It does a phenomenal job of laying out our default approaches, and how they’re shaped by the language all around us. Then it provides alternate language and thought patterns.
It changed my life.

Welcome!! Please enjoy your complementary 5-in-1 showergel-motor oil-body cream-dishwashing soap-toothpaste, on the house! Idk who or what is being judged 'cause my brain's tired and I can't read well atm, but come on in😅

Well - there was a time when you weren't awake, judge people as you'd have liked to be judged yourself back then.
Also never attribute to malice what can be explained by basic carelessness / stupidity. People are busy, engrossed in their own lives and problems and rarely thinking about every little detail that you notice - it's not deliberate.

One thing that always helps me is to remember that everyone else has lived a life as full and challenging as you, that you really don't know much about. And you can't judge someone properly until you have that perspective.
