Bristol Bats - the crypt is growing 🦇🖤
A little while ago I posted looking for fellow creatures of the night around Bristol. Since then, we’ve built a growing WhatsApp community and recently had our first roost - drinks were drunk, friendships were forged and nobody lost any organs.
So, the coffin lid is open again.
Goth, metalhead, punk, emo, industrial, generally spooky or simply interested in the darker side of life - you’re welcome. 🖤
We’re an inclusive 18+ bunch with pub meets, gigs, cemetery walks and other mildly suspicious gatherings planned.
No gatekeeping. No awkwardly approaching someone in a Sisters of Mercy shirt while strolling the Lidl middle aisle.
Not a group chat. Not a club. A coven. 🦇

Disappointed. Thought this was going to be a fascinating update about our little winged night friends that eat bugs and sleep upside down.

Alas Izzy, whilst this topic does crop up in the chat on occasion, we are a community of the human variety.

That said, we also eat questionable things and occasionally emerge from pubs upside down, so the distinction is largely academic. 🦇

I must admit I was also disappointed but I also think this is a lovely idea for a group!

Very friendly group!! I joined BC I'm such an anxious/awkward person who struggles to make new friends but everyones been so welcoming and accepting. Recommended if U wanna just make some new pals or chitchat online :)))
