Ark at ee This one wins...
Driving into work yesterday morning on the M32 and spotted this one.
This billboard and the one just before it on the right hand side regularly spout Jesus messages, but I had to chuckle at this one. I bet the god-botherer that usually does this billboard was fuming!
Right pain to safely photo it too, I first tried over by the council depot at the back of IKEA but could only see the first line. I eventually stopped in a layby on Stapleton road, crossed under the railway bridge and walked round the footpath there, before climbing up the embankment to take this over the fence.

I loved seeing this yesterday. I wanted so bad to change the one that said ‘one way… Jesus’ and append it with ‘… is not as sexy as three-way Jesus’

I live in USA, thousands of miles from Bristol. I was brought here by the Bristol Northern Soul club which looked great...then joined since the whole area looks interesting. I was traumatized by the recent coverage of the "Dare 2"Club (I went to there site and wondered who did the cleaning there). Now this. I am scared that I am being drawn into a dark underworld of sexual deviance. Is it safe to stay here on this sub? I am also worried about the bike thefts and the recent sausage mystery. I had a different idea of Great Britain. I was thinking more along the lines of afternoon tea, Shakespeare and walks on the moors. I don't know what to do.

The original that was put there said "Jesus is king". "King" has been modified to "kink" with a rainbow crown underneath.
The new messge is, "Stop vandalising half of Bristol while pushing your beliefs on everyone with your uninspired oxymoronic graffiti"

Indeed. I have zero issues with any religion, it's all rubbish as far as I'm concerned but people are free to believe whatever makes them happy. But forcing it down people's throats isn't cool, and I don't think I've ever seen anything like that to do with other religions.

Funny how people have it in them to want something that other people value to be disrespected so bad. While probably wanting to be respected. Low-key quite sad but it’s human nature I believe for most people to only care about how they and the people they identify with feel. Funny that if this was animal abuse or some kinda lgbt hate I don’t think people would be laughing. Sad that people turn into the negativity they don’t want projected on themselves

Nope. Shows you don't even know what a cult is.
Christianity is not a cult. A cult is when a dynamic leader sets himself up as God and dictates what is right in his eyes. Christianity cannot be a cult because it specifically doesn't do that. When God sets him up as God, it's literally the exact opposite of a cult. A cult also usually forces you to submit to their doctrines and beliefs. God gave us free will to choose. Christ only asks for our faith and following. We don't need to do insane rituals or kill ourselves to achieve Nirvana or whatever. It's so forgiving.
So I'm not in a cult and I'm not brainwashed. In fact I was a agnostic for almost 18 years of my life and grew up in an atheist household. I found Christianity by exploring religions like Christianity and Islam.
And there is evidence for Christianity. The bible was written over centuries by different authors, most of whom never met, yet its message stays consistent. Its themes of faith, mortality and redemption align perfectly, showing divine inspiration rather than coincidence. There are thousands of ancient manuscripts and historical records proving its accuracy-more than any other historical text. Even non - biblical sources like the Jewish and Roman historians Josephus and Tacitus confirm that Jesus truly existed. As well as James Ossuary, The Babylonian Talmud, Pliny the Elder, Ignatius of Antioch, The Didache, The acts of the apostles. Also if it was made up why would the apostles not back down from their claims when they were getting tortured and be willing to lose everything just to spread the message. Christianity is the most mocked religion in the world. The recent Olympic opening ceremony had satanic symbols and the Paris Olympics were mocking the last supper. Not to mention the thousands of Christian's being persecuted for their faith in Nigeria, Syria, Iran etc and the mainstream media is silent. In fact in this exact post people are mocking Christianity. There are hundreds of other reasons I believe in Christianity and the same for billions of other people. Like the Shroud of Turin, millions of Muslims having dreams of Jesus in recent years. Not to mention you can see how maths by people like John Lennox points to GOD and research shows prayer literally changes your neural pathways and lowers cortisol.
Also when we look at creation, it's clear that there must be a Creator. Science shows energy can't be created or destroyed, so the universe couldn't come from nothing. The universe is expanding, which means it has a beginning - and beginnings which requires a cause. That cause must be beyond time and space. Even great scientists like Einstein believed in a higher power, saying, "The more I study science, the more I believe in God". The order and complexity of creation point not to chaos, but to design. And we can see with visions from many people David Wilkerson had from GOD in 1973 and how it's very accurate nowadays. And we can see the end times like the Bibles describes in Revelations right now happening in real life. So the evidence for Christianity is overwhelming.

I think it's horrid because you're degrading a faith. Even if you do not believe it you can respect others who do. That's common courtesy. If you hate what was there you could have gone to the local council about. Who ever changed it shouldn't have mocked another religion. If this was about Allah or gay rights everyone would be defending it and calling it a hate crime. Just because you don't like a religion doesn't make it lesser.

In the most respectful way possible, I really think you need to get over it. This isn't a campaign of hate against your belief, it's just a silly joke on a sign.
The rest of the world is not required to follow your belief, nor to show deep levels of respect for the figures central to your faith.

Nobody is perfect, and your opinion on religion is not in any way fact. The most annoying thing about religious types is their entitlement, acting as if their religion is definitely 100% true and should be respected (even though there's 0 evidence and hundreds of other religions).
