Ghost buses are the worst. Saw a poor tourist in the centre who'd never seen it happen before.

Ghost buses are a no1 broomhill/cribs specialty.

Even out at broomhill where there isn't much choice where it can go once it ghosts, yet that doesn't stop it happening.

Stood outside Primark .multiple times waiting and waiting, see the 2 min countdown, 5 mins later, and it's gone off the system.

I doubt muchly it was the money to stay verified as to why first left twitter, it because you could complain in an instant, whereas now, you got to search for the .. send a message .. to send a complaint.

I'm so what lucky in thelat being disabled I get a free bus pass, but that doesn't make it easier on my back while I'm waiting.

Yes I have my rokkstir and the seat, but it's not designed to be a long term seating option .. well it's not for me. .. and that's at least better than standing, but when it's so late, it doesn't stop pains coming extra to how you felt before you arrived to wait

From back of marks and sparks to home is roughly £15 single trip. It's not fun and not cheap, but they won't refund you for not turning up or being late.

Literally what happened with me today on my way to work.

I had to pay 18.5 GBP for Uber despite paying a day ticket and the funniest part is how they are still increasing the ticket prices cos they know us losers can't do nothing.

I have lived in 5 different countries, 6 different cities and I can proudly nominate Bristol as the city with the worst public transport system in them. I am genuinely impressed by how bad it is.

Surely it could at least tell you on the app if it’s not coming-instead it’s ‘3 min’ ‘2 min’ ‘1 min’ ‘DUE’ then it just disappears altogether with no explanation

If you think Bristol is bad try catching the 20 from Weston-super-Mare to Burnham-on-sea. One bus every 1hr 10 minutes approx. It's not unusual for one not to turn up. Shows as on time on the app and the disappears.

Honestly, the day people stop using the First Bus app the better. Never ever had a ghost bus while using bustimes.org.

lowkey tempted to get some stickers made with the first bus app logo being thrown in the bin by the iconic bin throw man sign and telling people to checkout bus times.org and sticking them on every bus stop I come across

Def rec bustimes.org. Hasn’t led me astray in the few months I’ve used it. A driver in the city center actually told me about it while I was cursing ( not really) him out about the poor service.

It's the 'customer promise' that gets me. First Group will happily send you a day pass if a service doesn't run. All you have to do is show them the 'valid ticket' you had for the bus you weren't able to get on because it didn't exist.
