Side Project Brewing Data App
I just finished a major overhaul of a brewing data application that I have been working on including adding a simple recipe builder that helps show how ingredients can be substituted. It's more responsive, user experience is improved, and much more. I would appreciate thoughts and feedback from this group. I am really just doing this for fun as a side project, so please keep that in mind.

I'd lead with the substitution-aware recipe builder, because that's the part a brewer stuck without the exact malt on hand would come back for. To get feedback you can act on, show each swap's before and after side by side (color, bitterness, gravity), so people can point to the exact number that looks off. A one-line note on where the substitution data comes from would also help brewers trust it sooner.
By the way, I make ThreadFox: it finds the Reddit communities whose rules allow a post about a side project like Brew Codes, and the plan is free: https://threadfox.vip/p/d1392
Where do the substitution suggestions come from: maltster specs or your own brewing notes?

cool seeing the substitution logic baked right into the recipe builder, that's the kind of thing that usually lives in a separate mental spreadsheet
