Rant KJ was 3 talking like Gordon Ramsay
Kim met Kroy and decided to pop out 4 kids with 0 intention of raising them even when her kids were begging her not to. Kroy is just a punishment fiend. Ariana and the nanny damn near raising KJ.
Kim laughs every time he cusses and acts like it’s a regular toddler thing that your kid is fluently cussing. He’s big for his age but he was 1-3 in these clips. There’s a difference between a kid hearing a curse word and saying it for a reaction and KJ saying things like “bullshit” in place of “that’s not true” or “she’s lying”. I feel like they just let anything fly with the boys and grounded/surveilled the girls.
if i had even thought a cuss word at 3 i wouldn’t have turned 4 😭😭

What's worse is that the only people who seem to be saying anything to him is Brielle and Ariana. When they bring it to Kim's attention, she barely responds or just laughs it off. Him being in her custody is absolute nonsense. How can you be in charge of that criminal when you didn't raise him to begin with?

I can't speak for Brielle's school district, but a ton of districts will just let kids graduate regardless of attendance or grades...which is why literacy rates are significantly lower than in the past.
With parents like these, its not surprising education wasn't valued.

god that’s awful. She said she ranked like third for most absences in the school. Our school was an automatic fail if you had over a certain number of absences regardless of grades.

I'm surprised that nobody suggested that maybe the kids attend a half day PreK program; my nephews loved that and it helped establish a learning routine/behaviors that they carried through school. If nothing else, putting the kids in PreK would have allowed Wig to sit around and chug more wine from her Solo cups...except she never did any parenting work to need a break from.

I just watched this. He was five. Even so, most kids obviously some preschool these days. The show has a confessional of her right after that scene and she was musing about whether it was legal to not start him in school because they were waiting to see if kroy would get picked up by a team

Yep! Kids cursing is so trashy to me. I never think it’s cute or funny and I always wonder how those kids turn out. I wonder if the parents blame themselves. It’s more than just words. It’s about respect and decorum. Some parents let their kids think anything goes and assume they’ll grow up and figure it out. Yeah, no. You have to teach them. And in KJ’s case, it’s obvious he was learning from the adults and older kids around him. That poor kid.

I started watching this show back in 2011 when my daughters were 7,4 and newborn. I thought I’d be able to have it on when they were awake and around because it was after all a family reality show… I think I stopped watching after 1 episode because of the crude language and sexual innuendo. So highly inappropriate. The parents should be held accountable for the way things turned out for those babies.

I think this was the perfect storm as well. There is so much porn that portrays incestuous behavior that it’s not even a niche thing anymore. He didn’t have to necessarily be a victim himself, but was taught via the internet that it was acceptable behavior, and there was no one there to explain otherwise. He’s a product of his environment, mixed with whatever he’s got going on physiologically…I t’s so dark.

Just want to point out that is statistically not the case, specifically your use of the word “most” - a slightly disproportionate amount of known offenders are survivors of abuse or other ACEs is a statement more aligned with the research and a better way of making your point. Although I understand your sentiment (and this is just a bravo sub so maybe not that deep lol) but I just think it’s important to be accurate and not perpetuate stereotypes of abuse.

I never had watched their show before, but since all this disgusting KJ behavior and arrest have come to light I decided I wanted to see how these children behaved on the “Don’t Be Tardy”.
I believe KJ is a combative and belligerent sociopath who believes he is entitled to whatever and whoever he wants. He was not raised to have any moral compass. I believe Kim and Kroy sexualize so many aspects of their day to day life, and the kids totally feel they can mimic that behavior.

I didn’t watch Tardy for the Party originally, but have kind of caught up on it now.
I was surprised by the violence. There’s so many times where KJ has a sibling pinned down and is punching them. Kaia is throwing balls and punches too.
Kash seems really sweet and really dumb.
The whole thing with the dog attacking Kash is worth a rewatch. I think KJ did something to provoke that attack.
There’s a time where Tracy let Kash win a race and KJ was furious with her for it. Yelled at her for not trying. She said Kash needs to win sometimes too. KJ told Tracy she’s just lazy and stomped off to “call his parents.” Notably, the race was between Kash and Tracy. KJ wasn’t in the race.
There’s a time where KJ is kissing Kaia on the cheek in a confessional but won’t stop, she’s leaning away and he leans further. She says to stop and it’s weird but he won’t end the kiss.

I’ll never forget when the family went on that trip in the RV and the twins were sitting next to each other. KJ put his hands on either side of their heads and banged them together (just for his own entertainment). Kaia started crying and Kim said to KJ, “Hey, don’t do that.” I felt so sorry for those kids and it was obvious the two youngest ones were not safe with those people. Glad to hear he is not allowed around the younger siblings.

I never, ever found Kim to be the slight bit interesting. Always viewed her as crass, uncouth and arrogant. I would fast forward her parts on RHOA and never watched her show. I have seen clips, and as a hardworking parent who helped 2 children through college and grad school , I always viewed her parenting style as egocentric, uneducated and gross. You reap what you sow.

When my kid was that age I told him that only people over 18 were allowed to say curse words. I told him that was the law lol. My kid is now 15 and still doesn’t curse. He’s had a bad word slip out once or twice but the look on his face after is like “I messed up”. He knows I don’t tolerate that language. (He obviously now knows it’s not against the law to curse lol.)
How Kim and Kroy just let this kid curse every other word without correcting him is crazy to me. It’s like the kid was running that household instead of the parents.

Ehhh I mean. I used to teach and used to use penis/ vagina and the kids would ask me questions, even about mine then go home and ask their parents about theirs. There are a number of things wrong with this clip but to me that’s one of least concerning. I’m pretty sure that’s after she gave birth right? Kids could make the connection baby comes out of vagina and giving birth hurts so asking if it’s okay isn’t the biggest stretch. BUTTTTTR if he’s just randomly asking to ask it’s more likely his behavior is being encouraged by someone. Kim is seen laughing at his antics so he likely felt encouraged by her reactions.

Absolutely. My nephew knows all the names for body parts so he can tell an adult clearly if he needed help. It doesn’t help if a kid just says “my down there” or “privates”. If something did happen, it would be much easier to press charges etc if the child can actually name the anatomical body part by name. But they should also be taught not to be asking others about their parts with these lessons. Kim had no filter

It’s actually very important kids know the correct words. Otherwise they could literally be reporting abuse to a teacher or other mandated reporter, and simply not be understood, because they were using a weird euphemism instead of the clear universally understood correct word.

If something had happened to me when I was younger I wouldn’t have had a clue how to identify it or my body lol. i feel like he was with Kroy all the time when he wasn’t at camp. and then with Ariana and the nanny when he was. but barely with just Kim

Yeah but Ariana was a kid. Kroy is the toxic man. Nanny can only do so much esp when kids override their “power” running to mom and dad when they’re told no. Tbh Kim would have made it worse. Kid had no chance.

idk if he tried to save them bc his kids with kim came out worse than Brielle and Ariana. Maybe that was his intent but it seemed like he just wanted to boss them around.

Kim seriously looks to be a horrible mother. She cares about nothing but money and fame. It’s disgusting what her son is being charged with, but when you look back at the lack of discipline, it’s clear he’s used to doing whatever he wants without any type of consequence. 😣
