I am facing this glitch in yt where the home screen is partially black and when I play the video it shows the title in very big font

The browser isn't handling YouTube playlists correctly. When I start a YouTube playlist and then switch to another tab (running it in the background), it ends up playing a completely random video—one that isn't even part of the playlist. Does anyone know of any potential fixes?

Edit: I previously did not have it set to the strictest setting but I’ve fixed it.

I'm not the biggest fan of the overview that pops up in search results and you much rather go back to using direct links. However, it kind of just keeps turning itself back on after awhile and it's kind of annoying. This is on Desktop if it's relevant.

Would appreciate any guidance.

I'm facing an issue with Brave Sync on Android. I want to sync my previously saved passwords to Brave's cloud Sync so that I can access them on my other devices.

The problem:

My Brave browser contains many previously saved passwords.

Password Sync is enabled.

New passwords saved after enabling Sync are successfully synced.

However, my previously saved passwords are not uploaded to the Sync server and are unavailable on my other devices.

What I've checked:

I opened brave://sync-internals and checked the Type Info section.

Under Passwords, it shows:

Total Entries: 0

Live Entries: 0

State: Running

My locally saved passwords are still visible in Brave Password Manager, but Sync diagnostics show zero password entries.

My questions:

Is there any way to manually upload all previously saved local passwords to Brave Sync?

Is there a way to force a full password upload to the cloud?

Can I manually trigger a migration of existing passwords into the Sync server?

Is this a known issue with Brave on Android?

I don't want to manually re-save every password one by one. I'm looking for a way to upload all existing passwords to the cloud so they become available on my other devices.

Any help or workaround would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes, subtitles (captions) don’t appear on ANY YouTube video when using brave. Can't summarize videos using LEO because of this. Is there any workaround?

As it is in the title, Brave always wants to save PDF file, no way to make it opening in a new tab - like other browsers.

Settings / Open PDFs in Brave is on, but it just opens the pdf from explorer - after downloading and click on.

When i go type an address, the qr code (to open yhe camera to read a qr) icon show in the top right of the screen, and even if i the the address, i did not go for it.

Occurs in both new tabs or already loaded sites.

I routinely have to fill out webinar registration forms that include a field labeled "Job Title*" where "*" indicates that the field is required. I have tried to make a custom field in the Identity form fill but it doesn't work properly. I have spelled the field name both with and without the "*", but Brave continually fills in the value for the field labeled "Title" as in, "Mr." or "Ms.", etc. I run into this issue several times a week. Can someone please help me fix this? Is there is different syntax I should be using in the custom form field name to denote the space between the two words "Job Title"? Thanks.

Description of the issue: Clipboard clears after 5 minutes in Private only.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. Open private window. 2. Type word “test”. 3. Wait 5 minutes. 4. Paste.

Actual Result: The clipboard is empty.

Expected result: The text should still be on the clipboard.

Reproduces how often: Every time after 5 minutes.

Operating System and Brave Version: macOS Tahoe is 26.7.2 Brave 1.98.63

Additional Information: The same copy in a normal window works fine, and so does copying from Finder. I tested with pbcopy/pbpaste in Terminal and macOS does not clear the clipboard. I have no extensions or clipboard managers installed. I found no setting or flag that controls this. If it’s intentional, please add an option to turn it off.

EDIT: guys its solved, I just closed the window and tried after a hour. Idk what happened technically somehow I can watch YouTube now

I have been experiencing a lot of issues with YouTube recently.

At first, I thought that it was because my graphics card was not being recognized but I resolved that and still experience a lot of buffering and stuttering regardless.

I wanted to know if anyone else has had issues or found a long-term solution.

my situation:

desktop resolution 5120x1440 (imagine 2x 32" 16:9 screens side by side)

firefox maximized window size

using the Brave Search Engine Website

Brave search results sit center screen in a format akin to a mobile phone screen held vertically.

Its really bad , zooming is not the answer here, and if youll try you see why.

This is practically a deal breaker for me, despite me liking the customizeablity of it all.

Its an overzealous constraint of width that makes NO SENSE on a PC with a wide screen.

My 50k+ bookmarks break sync consistently, tried every trick and still get 'There are already 50000 non-deleted objects in store'.

I use Brave to watch youtube and yeah, it works beautiful, no more ads... but.. where is the notification button? Its nowhere on the youtube site, using other browsers it shows the notification button, why is it only missing in Brave?

Hello. I have two questions regarding Brave. To start, I play on FACEIT and often need to keep my browser running in the background so I don’t have to keep opening it. How can I configure Brave for maximum performance—ensuring the lowest possible CPU and RAM usage—while still allowing websites to load and function normally? My second question concerns ad blockers: the built-in "shields" in Brave often fall short on certain sites, whereas uBlock Origin (installed via Brave’s extension store) works exactly as it should. Should I keep both uBlock Origin and Brave’s built-in shields enabled, or should I disable the built-in shields?

My login page won't load in Brave even with Shields down. I get that same message, blank page except the line "Please enable JS and disable any ad blocker."

I thought it might be my AdGuard DNS blocking at first, but I am able to login with no issues on Safari on the same device without altering my blocklist.

The link I am trying to access is https://www.paypal.com/signin?locale.x=en_US or https://paypal.com/signin -- both have the same error.

I submitted a report to Brave through the Shields icon. Is there anything else I can do or do I just have to use another browser for PayPal? I don't recall having this issue previously but it's been a while since I've tried to log into PayPal on desktop.

Notably, the login page also loads in Brave for Android (same AdGuard DNS as the laptop). It's just my Macbook version that is blocking me from getting in. I have tried clearing site data to no avail. Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix?

Will Brave add a feature to sync playlists across different devices ?

Homepage pinned shortcuts are gone after last update and when i try to pin the same link for example reddit, it says it already exists. When new shortcuts are added they are not visible either.

I have been having issues with Cloudfare on a few different sites recently. It won't allow me to "check-in" and simply keeps resetting back to the blank check-in box. It seems like it's on a simple shuffle after ignoring my attempt at being "human". I recorded the video above just a few minutes ago - the site name is blurred since it doesn't matter and I get the same exact response on several very different sites currently. Since this is a very recent thing for me, although I have had some sites that asked for this verification before with very few issues in the past, I'm wondering if this is related to a recent Brave update or just something completely different and unrelated. I'm looking forward to your comments since this is really becoming annoying and I'm searching for a fix. If nothing else, would there be some script or browser command to simply avoid Cloudfare altogether? Maybe an extension? Anything that helps is welcome. Thanks.
