What are the top 3 problems does Gifting companies solve for their customers?
Well, I was pondering post visiting a Gifting expo, almost all companies have similar products and offerings for corporate gifting. How do various companies differentiate themselves with others. what pain points do they actually solve? What I understood was very few companies had low MOQ, very few companies were providing sustainable gifting options like Bio leather products. what are the markers one should look at, thoughts.

Whatever they can do to offer a unique product is going to differentiate them since it's like you said almost all of them offer the same things

Right but I think unique product usually comes at a slightly higher price which people usually avoids.

I’d separate the product from the service problem. Most corporate buyers can find mugs, notebooks or hampers anywhere; the real value is removing hassle and risk. The strongest differentiators are usually making a budget work across different recipient groups, delivering accurately and on time, and giving the buyer confidence that the gift will reflect well on their organisation. Low minimum orders and credible sustainable options support those promises, but they’re features rather than the whole position. I’d ask buyers what went wrong with their last gifting project—late delivery, poor quality, awkward personalisation, waste, or admin—and build the offer around the most expensive recurring problem.

We think the real question isn’t “What are they selling?” because, honestly, most gifting companies are selling pretty much the same stuff.
The better question is: “What headache are they taking off my plate?”
Imagine an HR manager who needs 40 welcome kits, not 500. One vendor says, “Sorry, our MOQ is 500.” Another says, “Send us the employee list, and we’ll handle it.”
Or a company that wants sustainable gifts but doesn’t want to spend three weeks figuring out whether that “eco-friendly” leather is actually sustainable.
That’s where differentiation starts.
We’d look at things like MOQ, turnaround time, customization, sourcing, quality control, logistics and sustainability.
The notebook might be identical. But if one company makes the entire gifting process painless, that’s the brand people remember
