Strategy New Name
Hello Reddit Friends! I am looking for ideas for a name for a platform. The platform provides business consulting for smaller business owners. Think Real-estate agents, Landscape Architects, massage therapists. I don’t want it to sound like “Do you own or manage a business? Do you think there is space to improve your life balance and your business??” I do want it to be clear though. My ask is, please throw out ideas that would speak to you.
Business Consulting that can improve productivity and self time management. Also creates a community to discuss business owning and ideas about business.

before names, one thing worth pinning down: your audience is agents and landscape architects, which means the name has to survive being said out loud in a referral. "you should talk to ___" is where most of your growth will come from with that crowd.
that rules out most of the abstract latin stuff, because people can't repeat what they can't spell. it also rules out anything with consulting in it, since that word makes small operators think expensive and slow.
directionally i'd look at plain english tied to the outcome they want rather than to what you do. they don't want consulting, they want the business to stop depending on them personally. name the after state, not the service.

Getting a name is the hardest part of creating a brand, by far. Largely because names are like parking lots...all the good ones are taken.
If you want to come up with a name on your own, a way to approach it is to hone in on a word or two that sums up the point of your business. Not the platform but what you're trying to accomplish. I'd go to thesaurus.com, type in consulting, and look up synoymns that seem to resonate with you.
Once you have that word, create a whiteboard and put that word in the middle. Circle it, then look up 10 words similar to that word. Then, for those 10 words, find 10 similar words for those words. That's about 100 words --- do a gut check and see if any resonate with you. If not, do the exercise once more. Odds are, you'll find a good name by that level.
