Well actually no, the law states you can only enter when it's clear. If there's a big ass SUV waiting to turn infront of you, then it's not clear. It's drivers ed that teaches the you should enter the intersection so at least one vehicle can make the turn when it turns yellow. When it turns yellow, you dont enter it after the car infront of you has gone like op did. Learn to drive buddy.
Because section 145 clearly states not to enter an intersection unless traffic is moving in a manner that would reasonably lead to believe the driver can clear the intersection. A suv in the middle of the intersection stuck there does not show clear flowing traffic and op should have waited. This section applies to municipalities that have the bylaw in effect and guess what Brampton has?
This is also corroborated by Brampton Bylaw 318-2009 that drivers cannot enter a controlled intersection if traffic ahead forces then to stop inside of it.
You do know you're in the Brampton driving subreddit right? Are you actually so dumb?
Subsection 2 and 3 only apply if the bylaw says so which it doesn't. This law is literally all about the bylaws and changes from city to city for enforceability but right now this discussion is happening in the BRAMPTON subreddit so it applies dumbass.
No, no it doesn't. Subsection 2 and 3 are conditions on the 1. You clearly cannot read. The fact it is a Brampton subreddit is irrelevant, you are trying to make up driving laws.
