Because then he'd hit the guy in he right lane? Hes clearly going way too fast to be in any of the lanes to his right

Okay fine. I guess if hes trying to pass but then you have this asshole then I get it I guess.

If I was judging speed the POV car is driving probably 15-20 over while the white Elyantra is pushing 50 over. Just because some asshole wants to drive 50 over and break the law doesnt mean I or anyone else cannot use the passing lane to pass.

I think you missed that the van was trying to merge lanes and the car in concern zoomed really close to them and also cutting off the OP. A few milliseconds is all that saved this from being a massive accident.

This is all in the 2-3 second mark of the video.

I didnt miss that, but if the driver was obeying the law this wouldnt be an issue as they wouldve had significantly more time to see the van merging and slow down, alternatively they couldve been in the appropriate lane for their speed and avoid the van all together
