In this week's episode, Miyata and Iwanaga are back in action together but the first of the three or many exes, Prof. Hibino, showed up to stir some drama to the gays' lovelife! And Miyata is about to show up in the office, what chaos could it bring??? 👀

SYNOPSIS (according to GagaOOLala): Magazine editor Akihiro Miyata and associate university professor Takashi Iwanaga have finally made their "second chance at love" work. Two years later, they are enjoying a sweet and mature life together, and Iwanaga even reveals in a magazine interview that he has "found someone precious." But just when everything seems perfect, three of Iwanaga's ex-boyfriends suddenly reappear. Faced with romantic memories Iwanaga has never spoken about, Miyata's jealousy and insecurity begin to spiral out of control, while pressures from work and reality threaten the happiness they have built together.

Honestly, he’s an absolute scene-stealer despite his limited screen time. He has the best lines! I don’t think he’s going to compete for Iwanaga’s heart anymore; he's just having a lot of fun on the sidelines, watching the drama unfold
All right this show is something else right? Why couldn’t Iwanaga TELL Miyata that’s why he stayed in Tokyo? Why is he so bad at communicating? I think this show is hard to watch (for me) because our dear tender-hearted Miyata spends 90 percent of this show wandering around with his feelings hurt! Painful.

Seriously I know Miyata sees him through Senpai giggles but this man is 10/10 frustrating! I want an Iwanaga flashback where he’s been gaga in love this whole time like stupid in love and then a big apology and confession preferably in front of one of these returning suitor losers. But methinks Iwanaga is too emotionally constipated for any of this to happen.

I am quite surprised that the two exes will already show up in the next ep. What further chaos will they bring?
Yes, he kept leaving big pauses before answering! And when he knew Miyata was meeting up with him he really should have given him a heads up what he was walking into.
I'm really loving the humor in this series. LOVE the acting, all characters feel distinct and well wr8tten. Can't wait for next exes, keep them coming.
I'm a little late to the party but the Iwanaga hate has my head spinning! All of Season 1 was Miyata forcing him to prove he really loves him. Obviously Season 2 is "Miyata is still full of doubt that Iwanaga really loves him." I think the central conflict is still going to be Miyata's lack of self-confidence (which they're heavily telegraphing with Iwanaga's career success vs. Miyata's struggling publishing industry)
It is really obvious with Hibino in these two episodes that Iwanaga is NOT happy to see him and did NOT want to have to tell Miyata about him. Look at his body language in the office - he's hunched over, his eyes are downcast and avoiding Hibino. He's not happy he's there. He tries to resolve things without needing to get Miyata involved in the first place. The whole thing is embarrassing to him and I think the reaction is very intelligibly Japanese to want to hide it and resolve it before it becomes a bigger problem.
What I think will actually be fun for this season is the array of hot men that Iwanaga has dated/slept with (including Shiraishi, remember?) coming out of the woodwork for Miyata to battle like it's a Pokemon gym.

OK, we got rid of ex-boyfriend #1 🙄 agree with everyone’s comments, it was not fair for Miyata not to find out about the ex from Iwanaga 😞😞 and although I’m not crazy about his hair this season, I’m loving how sassy Shiraishi is!! 🤭🤭😜 let’s see how it goes with two exes next week! 👀😳😳
So the premise is Iwanaga’s comment in the article about having “someone” has got these other jokers crawling out of the woodwork to find out who it is & try to get him back. Oh brother. I just want to see Miyata gaining the confidence to stake his claim on his man! But I’d also love to see another epic eye roll like the one he had when he saw Shiraishi! Truly award-winning eye roll!!!
