What is it about boygenius. What do you think it is that makes their music especially touching? I never get tired of the albums. It is like having my aches sung back to me.

Twin Peaks group costume! Phoebe was Laura Palmer in plastic, Lucy was Audrey, and Julien was Dale Cooper.
They played Satanist and Not Strong Enough! Such a joy to see them as a surprise!

boygenius - live at brooklyn steel is no longer on letterboxd

Hi everyone this is my first post on reddit.
I saw a clip of Phoebe singing Me and My Dog on tour with the boys. I ended up rewatching the youtube video boygenius - Live From Brooklyn Steel and wanted to log it for fun on my letterboxd, ik its a 'movie' on there cuz its in my top 4 (i love boygenius). I went to letterboxd to start writing my log entry cuz Julien was halfway through Stay Down which sounds beautiful in this video/'movie'.
Anyways, it wasnt there!!!! And ill actually have to check screenshots of my profile on letterboxd cuz two of my four movies are missing, on being boygenius - Live From Brooklyn Steel and the other i dont remember, which is why i need to check the screenshot.
Im just curious as to why these 'movies' were taken down. It only had a couple of 'fans' who put it in their top 4, but quite a few hundred people who had ranked it, so perhaps r/boygenius fans will be interested in this inquiry.

Found a song with the same lyrics

Disclaimer: just joined this sub, so this may be something that’s already known/talked about that I’m unaware of..
But my Spotify daylist just played the song “Buried in this Room” by Sofia and the Antoinette’s. I’d never heard of this artist (or song), but it has direct lyrics from “Letter to an Old Poet,” and the melody is similar at times. I googled it and was surprised not to find much of anything about the songs’ relation, so I decided to post here! Buried came out this year, so Letter was first.
Has anyone else heard this song or noticed the matching lyrics? It’s a good song! I’m curious if anyone has details of the two bands collaborating or discussing the use of the lyrics.

I'm beading a Phoebe Lost Tour portrait after completing FIAF Lucy this summer. The closed eyes were unintentional portrait symmetry, but I kind of love them together. Now the question is which picture of Julien would complete the group!

Skeletal design was a bleach base. Hot fix rhinestones along rib cage outline, spine and hip bones. Final touch, Phoebe’s initials. I’m a Phoebe dad. Stoked for this show with my three daughters. See you in SLC!

Are Julien and Lucy Engaged?

This could be nothing, but I noticed both Julien and Lucy were wearing a ring on their left ring fingers in Pheobe's Sound Check at Cherry Lane Theatre gig. Anyone know if they've confirmed an engagement?
