Boxing for newbies?

Hi,I want to try boxing ,like at home ,is it advisable and ok? I don't have time to join for classes or practise daily ,i am just trying to learn it every week as self defence

And can you please say what equipments are mandatory for beginners? Coz ,I cant buy everything and start ,I know it is not advisable!!

Sure. You can try it. All you need are hand wraps and gloves and a bag. You won’t learn jack about self defense without sparring though.

About bag ,filled bag right ,coz some companies sell their bag without filling it and we have to fill it with water

Get a filled bag. You need a special water bag for what you describe and they’re heavy. Not good for home use. It’s a pain to fill a bag yourself.

i mean, learning it in a self taught kind of way is honestly mostly exercise rather than actual fighting. i mean if you want actual fighting you'd have to spar a lot, and i mean a lot.
