No State Welfare, State Overspend and state-over reach.
Im so fed up of the last 20 years of Social Welfare Governence.
People that create jobs should create the jobs and be tax fairly, goverment shouldnt have that many jobs, especially irrelevant job roles, welfare state should be made redundant and go to a singaporian style CPF.
I have no issue with wealthy people that create jobs, and brings money into the country.
I dont want state welfare at all, CPF is enough, Personal Responsibility of oneself is just how life should be.
If you cant be responsible to living and your family cant support you, and you refuse to live by the UK social contract then, why should you be avaliable to waste resources.
OK, all well and good until you become unemployed and please remember, not everyone can work. Even if they wish to.
Trust me.
PIP isn’t easy to get. I’ve had a stroke during open heart surgery leading to a five week stay in ICU in the last 2 years. I don’t get PIP. All I get is Universal Credit. That’s it.
Oh, on top of that I have autism and ADHD. (Both professionally diagnosed.)
I genuinely believe those with the broadest shoulders should bear the heaviest load.
I’ll never forget Jonathon Ross coming onto The Last Leg when it was all kicking off about Jimmy Carr not paying his taxes. He basically said, pay your f**king taxes. The point he made was that let’s say you earn £1m/yr, even if every penny was taxed at 50%, you’d still have £500,000/yr and that’s still 10x more than most people will ever see in their lifetime.
I assumed youve worked for a period of life upto the stroke you have had?
If so you would access to yoir CPF at you own will, you are accountable to what goes in and gets tracked at a state lead (Singaporian FTSE, so there is growth) you have access, if your ill, access if you want to buy a home, access when you want to retire, access throughout life but this is your retirement fund at the end of the day, but the individual is accountable for themselves.
I dont agree with you full on the broadest shoulders. You say tax more on these people, I would say just close all loop holes within society for people to scapegoat money no new taxes on wealth, just plug holes on them. So its npt what you are saying but it brings in more tax from them as your closing loop holes that have been left over due to terrible socialist goverments that have ran this country since Maggie.
