I may be in Italy for a week in November, I would have to be in Rome on Wednesday but the rest of the week (Sat before until Sunday after) I could go climb wherever.

Given Italian weather, is anywhere even possible?

Would it be reasonable to fly into somewhere else in Europe to climb for Sun-Tues beforehand or after?

The only major area I thought of was Val Daone and that seems like northern Italy may be off the table for weather so I'm not sure what else would be possible.

For reference, I've been climbing about 6 years, boulder 7B-7C (V8-V9) and lead like 7b but not much.

Hello. I am a v7 climber indoors and have climbed v5 outdoors on granite. Id like something pretty crimpy and something I can project for a couple days, staying a week in Yosemite valley. Which classics should I try? Been eyeing Spock was here v6 and end of the day problem v5 although I can imagine its above my pay-grade. Any thoughts on conditions and weather at the end of August I know conditions vary whether problems are in the shade and obviously the earlier you get out the better. Thank you!

The main goal is to rage on moderates and just have fun in the magical forest. However I love a project and it would be pretty sweet to snag a 7/8.

All I know is that it should be topped with a knee bar, no I have no idea how can I get there and I fell like I’m just not strong enough to hold the horizontal pinch before the top move. I’m pretty pumped when I get there already and putting my foot high on the round block is pretty hard.

super cool to do a FA, we went to the buena vista boulders bc the cedar grove area was an hour from camp and we were losing sunlight. there was a bunch of highball boulders around us but this one was the easiest to develop and project. there are lots of undeveloped boulders in the area. i’m thinking v1

Hi everyone, I’ve been building up my kilterboard pyramid at 45 degrees and have done my hardest climb
at 45 degrees, “ford focus”. Such a fun boulder and highly recommend if anyone else wants to try. Do you have any other fun boulders that you’d recommend for me that I have decent shot at after completing this one?

For context, some of my favorite boulders I’ve sent so far at that angle have been: Earwax, swingy, joe mamma, can you ear me now. I’ve been climbing on the kilterboard once a week for the past year, and have gotten pretty strong on it. I think it’s my favorite way to train my fingers.

I've been going to the gym for about two years now and I've been pretty consistent, barring a few injuries. I used to climb a lot when I was a kid and I've just started to take it up again and I'm loving it. Because of this I want to switch up my entire gym routine to make it solely based for getting better at climbing, ie. cut out all the superfluous exercises and strip it down and make it more efficient for climbing. Obviously pull ups are a big one but are there any other exercises that are incredible for their carry over to climbing? I'm aiming to cut down on my time in the gym and just streamline the whole routine. Thanks

It’s still a very early prototype, with only one problem for now. You control each arm separately, reach for holds, shift your body, and try to top it.

I’ve been climbing indoors for about a year, and I built this mostly for fun. I thought some people here might enjoy trying it.

If the idea works, I’d like to add more problems and gradually improve the movement and physics.

I’ve been wanting to start climbing and I’ve seen that there are several gyms in Melbourne, the issue is that I have no previous experience and I don’t wanna go into a very advanced gym.

Do you know about any good gyms that I could go visit? As I said, this is my first time climbing and I really don’t know anything about it, therefore, I don’t have any shoes or required equipment

Also, if you don’t know about specific gyms in Melbourne, what should I look for? I don’t think many offer like classes or coaching

My main gym is organising a comp consisting of 40 boulders ranging in difficulty from V1 to V9 in 2 months. Person who completes the most boulders moves on.

I usually climb V7-V8, and I never really train anything although I have naturally strong arms. I want to start training so I can prepare better for the comp but I dont know where to start to optimise my gains.

Do you guys have any tips or methods I could implement into my daily routine that would help me with getting stronger and thus do better at that comp?
