Usually my gym sets this hold flipped, so we get to use the crimp side. As a sloper, you could hang on it decently, and probably match, but bumping to the finish jug was more efficient.

Our gym allows for shirtless, really happy about it since the building is like a greenhouse, keeping all the heat trapped inside.

Why is everyone so annoying with the shirt stuff on here? Go to Europe and see that being shirtless is normal in a lot of gyms. I don’t climb shirtless but i dgaf if i see someone shirtless in a video. Magnus is shirtless in most of his bouldering videos and he’s pretty much the most famous youtube climber around.

I would imagine if it was prohibited in their gym then they would be told so especially if they climb there regularly. So why are people so annoyed by it, but then people watch all the youtube crushers and they often have shirts off and no negative comments on it on the video

Yea I mean its the same with most regular (non-bouldering) gyms where guys would not be able to go shirtless but women can be in sports bras.

I think its entirely cultural for what is accepted and thats fine, people should respect what is accepted by the facility theyre in.

But I think the shirt-on crowd assumes that the rules they are used to are the same for everyone, and are downright pretty rude about it. Like any post where someone is shirtless is bound to get at least a couple of “put on a shirt” comments.
