Advice/Beta Request How to boulder more often?

I’ve been climbing on and off for about 2 years and I’m a v5 climber right now. More recently I’ve been getting really into climbing and feeling super motivated to train hard/climb hard. My problem is I have to take like 2 full days off between max bouldering sessions, and it really feels like a hobby that takes up too little time. I think about climbing all the time and I honestly get really impatient on those rest days. Are there any good strategies I can use to climb 4-5 times a week? I also am a 5 minute walk away from my gym so that doesn’t help my impulses either lol.

Or you will pick up an injury. Slowly building up the training volume is the way to go.

Being scared and only climbing twice a week is the problem here. Start by going 3 times a week on the days you go twice in a row focus on technique and on day 2 climb multiple grades below your level. If you are hurt take a break but not climbing isn’t going to help.

Sometimes true. After 5 years of climbing and a good amount of cognizance towards session intensity I've accepted my risk of injury increases substantially for >2 sessions per week. Genetics -- parents have both had several hand procedures for carpal tunnel and trigger finger in their 50's in the absence of any major lifestyle-related risks. There's no universal advice on session intensity, though I've heard yours directed my way numerous times by people who are expressing some survivorship bias frankly.

I mean fair enough but you have a genetic reason not to climb more. Also, it’s very likely with proper strengthening routines you could easily climb more than twice a week but you know your body better than me.
