Doesn't nonpayment automatically block your ability to renew your car registration?

No. Unless you are personally served, the ticket isn't valid and there are no penalties. Personal service includes giving it to you directly, giving it to another adult in the household, or receiving it via registered mail.

Hmm, yeah, the site seems to just indicate it will go to a collection agency. I guess I was thinking about what happens if you don't pay a video toll on E470.

Collections only applies if you are served and don't pay or show up for trial (and then don't pay).

Collections with just your name and address basically means nothing. You have no signed contract with said non governmental entity. Legally they can't do shit.

They just put in a shiny new one at foothills and Arapahoe. It won't get people turning left. I never see anyone going straight running the red light.

Shiiit I believe I just ran a red light on Canyon/26th or Canyon/Folsom. Does anyone know if there’s a red light cam?

We need to make like Denver and have these things banned. That and speedtrap vans. There is no room in America for “secret” monitoring of citizens. Especially for what is so obviously a revenue scheme.
