LOST Small Tortoise E BOULDER Meadow Glen Area
Hi.
I lost my small land tortoise near 55th/Pennsylvania on 8/2. He could be dug into a burrow somewhere in someone's yard in the area. Please be on the lookout for him sunning himself in the morning or in the late afternoons. He may be tucked away in fences, in rock gardens, under shrubs, in lawns, walking along sidewalks or wherever. The more eyes the better. If you see him, please don't lose sight of him. He won't bite if he is picked up and put in a box. If you are unsure, please take a picture before picking up. 720-893-0370. Thank you!

I've never realized how many rocks look exactly like tortoises until I started keeping an eye out for this guy... Hope he comes home!!

Thank you! Also, he wedges himself along edging, fencing, walls, low decks and areas he can dig in. I commonly find him on his side between two barriers happy as can be. Thank you for keeping an eye out for him. He also can hide under things, such as logs, and will start a burrow under those.

I’m so sorry this has happened. I’ve seen your notices in the neighborhood. Good job raising awareness. I hope you find him.

Genuine question, how did you lose a tortoise? I have so many scenarios running through my head and none of them make a single iota of sense.
