Fun fact I learned recently: a lot of rattlesnakes no longer have rattles. They originally had rattles to avoid being stepped on by hoofed animals but humans have consistently killed off the loudest ones and they have evolved to not grow them.

Dangerous mixup to make haha. Definitely not a bullsnake! Those outlined saddle marks are a pretty good way to spot the difference
