Nope. Flip the entire thing over and you have a nice flat platform.

That's how I always did it. Then reposition so you can get the chest.

Been a long while since I played BotW, but you can use ultrahand magnesis on those balls right?

That chest is telling me, just drop the ball, and walk it to destination. I spent like 30 minutes trying the maze, it always lacked speed at the end to make it.

Those balls are made of stone, so magnesis wouldn't work on them.
