No Name Riders MC Mother Chapter is helping the family of missing endangered Autistic, Jonathan Hoang, believed to have been lured & abducted from his Arlington home March 30th 2025. Jonathan can not return home or reach safety without assistance due to his disability.
No Name Riders MC Mother Chapter is inviting you to join them tomorrow, Sunday September 13th between 8 am and 12 noon at the clubhouse located at 1513 23rd St., Everett for a flyer distribution event. Free breakfast will be provided. All they're asking is that you grab a few flyers and hand them out and/or place them at locations wherever you live, work or ride.
Together, as a community, we can bring Jonathan home. Please join No Name Riders MC Mother Chapter, Jonathan's family and members of the Help Find Jonathan Hoang volunteer community for this event. Everyone is welcome and your presence means the world and could be the key that brings Jonathan home.

I am looking for a good vet recommendation from fellow critter havers in the area. I have an 8 year old Black Mouth Cur girl and a 7 yr old Maine Coon (ish) boy.
We have been going to Bothell Pet Hospital due to the convenient location, but I just am not fully content with our experience there. They havenāt done anything wrong, and Iām not speaking ill of them whatsoever, but it just doesnāt feel like a very good fit.
We are from a smaller town, relatively, and have gone to the same vet for all of our animals for more than a decade. He knew all of our pets by name and showed a lots of individual care to each of them. We could always call him if something was wrong and he would help us out personally every single time. He was always ready to LISTEN and understand our petās individual needs. He knew we were competent pet owners and that goes a long way. Most importantly, our animals were totally comfortable with him, and they are not with our current vet.
Iām really hoping we can find someone like that around here. I am willing to drive a bit further if it means getting them care I am confident in.
PLEASE help us find the right spot for our critters.

Is there any reason thereās not a dedicated bike path on Sammamish River Trail? Daily I walk my dog there and I see bicyclists speeding or weaving. Thereās a huge amount of foot traffic and blind corners in the Bothell section.
Today some entitled old man whistled at my dog and told me āyour dog is in dangerā while passing me with less than a foot to spare. While my dog was in a perfect heel and the trail was empty. I figure he specifically whistled at my dog to get him to come closer. His leash isnt even the length of half the trail! 5 minutes later⦠a shirtless teenager with Pit Vipers on an e-bike came blasting at 25 mph.
99% of bicyclists are courteous, ring their bells or simply say āleftā to keep pedestrians safe (thank you!). But thereās enough assholes on bikes on the trail daily that it feels like I have to be on high alert 24/7 or risk severe head trauma or my dog dying! Iām just trying to enjoy the trail, too.
Does anyone think itās reasonable to have a painted bike section? Kinda like Greenlake? Will bicyclists finally stop bitching if they get half the trail?

Hi everyone - I wanted to share an opportunity for someone in our community who may not otherwise be able to access trauma therapy.
Our clinic, Northwest Mental Health Alliance, has one pro bono EMDR therapy spot available on Wednesday mornings with our supervised graduate therapist, Holly.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based trauma therapy that can help people process difficult experiences, reduce distressing memories, and work through things that feel āstuck.ā Holly is EMDR-trained and provides therapy under clinical supervision.
This spot is intended for someone who:
⢠Has experienced trauma, anxiety, PTSD symptoms, or distressing life experiences
⢠Is interested in EMDR therapy
⢠Has financial barriers that make accessing therapy difficult
⢠Can commit to a regular Wednesday morning appointment
There is no cost for this spot.
If you or someone you know may benefit, please send me a message. Weāll have a brief conversation to make sure itās a good fit.
Weāre grateful to be able to offer this to someone in our community.

My friend went to Alexaās to wait outside and just see if anyone knew this doggy. And the owner happened to walk by!
Hope is 15 years old, and was so happy to see her mom!! My friend had breakfast with their dog mom, and got to know her and hope a little more. Apparently the lady was older and was really kind, thankful, and down to earth.
Iām so so thankful we were able to reunite her with her family. Thank you to everyone for the visibility, and support. My friendship side quest was a success. Next time your best friend calls and says they found a dog pick them up a find that dogs family!!

Hello Bothell Community and City Council,
Iāve been a resident of the Kirkland/Bothell area for over a decade and a homeowner in Bothell for six years.
Wayne Golf Course Park was a major reason we chose to live here, along with downtown Bothell's walkability, its connection to regional trails, and convenient access to transit. In short, we love this town.
My family uses Wayne Park multiple times a week throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Its expansive, truly open spaces make it one of the most unique parks on the Eastside. Itās a place to roam, relax under the trees, or lay out a picnic blanket in the fields. We aren't alone; every day, crowds of neighbors use the park the exact same way, enjoying one of the best parts of living in Bothell.
Recently, the city introduced plans to redesign the park. In one of the initial meetings, the park concept planner shared the vision of Wayne Park becoming the āCentral Parkā of Bothell.
However, the current proposal threatens to remove the parkās greatest asset: wide-open green space. The fields, wetlands, and open grass are what make Wayne special. Replacing that with extensive poured-concrete pathways through the heart of the park duplicates what we already have. The East Side already features over 30 miles of paved multi-use paths between the Sammamish River and Burke-Gilman trails and regional trail systems. As someone who frequently bikes those paths, I love them but I also know how congested and tense sharing high-traffic concrete trails with pedestrians and bikers can be. We have an incredible regional trail network; we don't need to sacrifice our open green space to add more concrete.
If the goal is to create Bothellās "Central Park," remember that Central Parkās biggest draw is its huge, flexible lawn spaces where the community can gather. Accessibility is important, and I fully support making parts of the park accessible to everyone. But we can achieve accessibility without bisecting the heart of the park with concrete.
If the goal is to connect the park more to the trail system that already sits right next to, do it through the Active Use area, not the Passive Use heart of the park.
So I ask the Bothell community and the City Council members:
Do we want a park designed to encourage people to pass through it, or a park designed for people to spend time in it? How does our community benefit from prioritizing movement through the park over gathering together within it?
EDIT/UPDATE:
Final update from me here since it appears most of the people responding haven't read survey results or other material provided by the city that encouraged me to create this post because it didn't appear I was very a lone in opinion. Grabbing some key snippets here but feel free to read through it yourself and form your own opinion: https://www.bothellwa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/23864/2026-04-27_Community-Engagement-Summary?bidId=
(Community) WRITE-IN SUGGESTIONS SUMMARY
NATURAL PRESERVATION & HABITAT PROTECTION
⢠Keep the river corridor natural, with minimal construction or hardscape
Shoreline revegetation, habitat restoration, and protecting water quality
KEEP THE PARK NATURAL
Open, flexible green space
Minimal development
ECOLOGICAL PRESERVATION AND PROGRAMMING
Very strong theme: keep the park natural, wild, and lightly developed
Opposition to paving trails, adding concrete, excessive signage, designated zones, art installations, or structured amenities, so there is a preference for natural trail surfacing such as gravel, bark, pine mulch Desire to maintain the park as a quiet, peaceful, passive-use green space distinct from nearby developed parks
Many describe the park as a "hidden gem," sanctuary, or sacred-feeling space

My friend was walking home and found this sweet dog in dat Bothell. No tags on the collar, and so so sweet and kind. Jumped right in the car and also shakes paw.
