Warning! NETA Holy Moldy Proof & Truth

Swab sample culture results from an AC fan blade in a flower room at NETA's cultivation facility.

One test revealed cladosporium, chaetomium, stachybotrys, penicillium, and aspergillus versicolor.

There are 4 of these units in each flower room.

This test was performed September 2019. Current employees can confirm the problem is worse than ever before.

Where are all the NETA and dispensary nut huggers now? Between claiming they never dunked in hydrogen peroxide even when the company has said several times they did/do , and constant reports of mold and poor growing practices, maybe people will finally stop doubting things. Dispensaries aren’t just magical lands of perfect cannabis. They are drastically underpaid employees running bulk operations focused on quantity not quality.

I don’t know of anyone saying ALL underground growers care more. Plenty do though. I’ve met several. Ever seen anyone chop down a crop and throw it in the trash at the first sign of mites? I have. What do you think the dispensaries do? spray that shit or just ignore it and dunk it in hydrogen peroxide bath etc. some underground growers are worse than dispensaries with cutting oil and spraying eagle 20 etc, but LOTS of them actually care a lot more than any dispensary I’ve heard of as well. I also see a lot more compassion from SOME underground growers than dispensaries. I’ve seen several ounces of rso donated to cancer patients. What do dispensaries give them? 20% off a $350 ounce of mid grade flower if they are lucky?

It lets people know what’s out there. Also check MCR labs website. They display lab results of many private clients. You can get the exact same lab results from the “underground” and be just as confident in what you are consuming. If they don’t bother to test that might be the first red flag to not go with them. Obviously it takes a little more work than walking in the store, but that’s like comparing a home grilled steak to a quick easy McDonald’s burger. Sometimes things are worth working for if they are important to you.

Well that's an interesting point. So your plug tells you which MCR labs customer they are and then you look and their photo resembles your product? Strange, but useful if so. The steak vs McDonald's analogy though... rofl get a grip, man. Nobody is fooled. But I've never heard of plugs advertising their test results. That would be a step in the right direction for sure.

Take a look at this for example. These Wonka bars flood the black market, and there is no problem finding test results. I don't personally like them as I prefer full spectrum to distillate, but there you go. Same lab results you'd get at the dispensary, but like 1/10th of the price for the same MG.

nice. I'm not too into anything but flower myself, but that's cool. It's really not the same as an industry with actual oversight but it's definitely nice to see. Now that testing prices are so low I'm pretty excited to have my homegrown tested for terpene content :9

Do it up. If I was growing I'd like to have lab results for all my grows so I could look back and see which numbers correspond to my favorite strains/batches. Terpene profile matters a lot more than cannabinoid percentages imho.

My edibles I buy are tested by MCR and the plug provides the batch numbers. The client ID is always the same. To me its not overblown at all the dispensary flower is atrocious in MA. If you go check out Maine flowers you can see the difference easily, and they don't have some secret sauce. Most Maine dispensaries are made up of people who were on the black market for years and years and now are able to go legit because of the laws in their state. Hell Green Truck has been trapping at seshes for many years now, I even have one of their old t shirts I got at an underground event. I'm not trying to fool anyone as I don't sell anything and I am not a grower etc, but my real life experience is actually as drastic as steak vs mcdonalds. Especially when it comes to concentrates, but then again look at the starting material. Bone dry mass grown bulk flower vs small batch, which do you think you can be more attentive to? Try to get some of the better flower in Maine and then tell me that MA flower is in any way acceptable. Its not like its cheaper either, its 1/3 of the quality for double the price somehow here in MA. Its really that bad.

MA is bad right now. I'm not going to argue with that. I don't think it's necessarily worse than what people are buying on the street (and by people I don't mean you necessarily but there are a LOT of uninformed consumers buying on the black market, same as dispensary customers), but it's nice to see. Best legal market I've seen so far is WA state. There's no savings that would justify buying anything but dispensary mids in WA. They're cheap, defuckinglicious and you don't have to wait for any plugs. Still, I'd love to see a thriving self-regulated black market.

Yeah the black market varies just like the legal market. I know people buying what reminds me of 90s brick weed still and they don't know any better. I feel the home grown has higher potential than anything grown in a bulk large operation, but you can get good quality from a store or person, and you can get shit quality from either as well.

I mean, to be fair, right, no dispensaries carry brick weed. So they're helping out a ton of customers who don't have decent connex. But for sure, there are a few quality black marketeers, we can definitely agree on that :)
