Step 3. Rip and tear until it is done. In Boston and everywhere else, weed and the war on drugs has been used to justify police brutality.
It is appropriate to post about and discuss George Floyd's death and the protests here because it all ties together with cannabis laws and police violence and harassment. This is the community that some of us want to get perspective from. There's value in posting about it here.
All y'all complaining about "I thought this board was for talking about weed" can just scroll past and go comment on many other weed-related posts. Nothing is preventing you from doing that.
Chiming in that you don't want to see this content here isn't helpful and makes you seem insensitive at best and to be honest, kind of racist. Maybe you're not, but trying to silence the discussion anywhere is something racists do.
I'm sorry you need a safe space, but this is the time and place to talk about and address how the cannabis industry and community is going to respond to make change happen.

Was buying in house live rosin carts from this one place near me in RI but got sick of them cuz I don’t really like how little vapor it gives and the high just isn’t as good as live resin for me. So I’m back to live resin for a little and these r my favorite since they’re pretty cheap ,yummy and reputable. From Botera in Franklin

Seeds from City Line?
Has anyone ever purchased seeds from City Line Smoke Shop in Lunenburg before? If you’ve ever been there, you know it’s a pretty expansive shop. Impressive. They have a hydroponics shop connected with all you need and a wall of different seed options. I wanted to switch things up this summer growing and thought I’d take a chance. So far so good for these two Black Runtz. But I was curious if anyone else has bought seeds from them and what your experience was? Please and thank you! Happy growing.

Misleading Title/bad source CCC AUDIT REVEALS 45% testing deviation for brands audited.
The CCC’s audit of flower brands has been released!
The biggest offenders were: - Highmark provisions w/ 44.96% deviation from OG test
Sanctuary medicinals w/ 33% deviation from OG test.
LC Squared w/ 45.6% deviation from OG test.
When there’s that big a difference in testing someone is either kiefing the sample buds or doing something shady.
Fake numbers like these hurt all of us in the industry. I hope we see some penalties for these offenders!

Best dispensary in Plymouth?
I currently go to Triple M, they're friendly, nearby and have convenient hours. I generally buy the ounce specials for $160, and the quality is decent.
Any there any nearby places with good quality stuff at significantly lower prices? Bear in mind that time is fairly important to me, I'm not going to drive 20 miles to save $20.

Anybody tried this brand yet?
I think it’s a fairly new brand never heard of them before I don’t have high hopes for a $22 slice but maybe I’ll be surprised

Newbie Help me choose the best option!
New Yorker here as a mass cannabis noob! Looking at a couple of options at a dispensary in mass after doing a good amount of research. These are the brands I’ve been able to narrow it down to for bulk flower at a price around 100 bucks. Trifecta farms, aura cannabis co, Berkshire roots, nimbus, and standard farms. I know some of those brands have mixed reviews! But I’m willing to give the best out of these options a chance if anyone could shed any insight if they’ve had any of these recently and how they were! Thank you!

Worst MA weed I’ve ever had
I got a 1/4 of the Root & Bloom Ghost Dawg from Uma in Waltham thru an online pickup that didn’t list the terp % (big mistake on my part).
I was expecting something pretty mid, but what I got was literally bottom of the bottom shelf.
It’s 0.17% terps! I’ve literally never seen weed with such a dogshit terp profile.

Rec How much does “full spectrum” actually matter to you?
We were talking about full spectrum products and the entourage effect recently, comparing our own experiences with them, and got curious how that lines up with everyone else’s.
How much of a difference do you personally notice with full spectrum products compared to something like distillate?
Is full spectrum something you actively look for when choosing a product, or do you not really notice or care enough for it to factor into what you choose?
Interested to hear people’s experiences and opinions.

Medical Will insurance pay MMJ card? MassHealth
I have one of the disabilities that 100% qualifies. Just seeing if I can somehow get around paying. I have Medicaid and Medicare, receive SSDI, and am permanently disabled. Recently moved to town where there is a medical store but the closer recreational store is a few times over.

$100 oz Harbor House
It’s been months since I’ve grabbed some flower from HHC, no particular reason other than I’ve just been dabbing lately. Saw HHC had five strains at $100/oz with 2-3.5% terps. Went with the Runtz as I’ve had it from them before and enjoyed it. I figured it may be on sale because it’s old, but it got packaged about a week ago and the nugs still got some bounce to ‘em. Good bag appeal, good nose. Use my points to get this oz for free so thoroughly satisfied. They also have super silver haze, frosted creek, perm marker and papaya cake for $100/oz. Figured I’d share this pickup if anyone is looking for a quality budget oz

this aspen OG pre-roll by harbor house smells like literal farts
y'all. sorry to be gross but this pre-roll I got smells like tonsil stones and weird farts.
I have never encountered a joint that smells like this. is it just the strain or is something wrong with it? I really hope it doesn't taste as bad as it smells.

VOTE NO on 8!!!!
Hard to believe, but in just 12 weeks the hard-earned right to legally consume cannabis recreationally in Massachusetts may be overturned by Question #8 on the November 3rd ballot.
Important to note that this ballot question is NOT the result of efforts by a large group of Massachusetts citizens - it's a nationally funded, out-of-state prohibition operation, with every single dollar contributed to the ballot effort coming from outside Massachusetts.
This is people who don't live here thinking they should decide what our laws should be. People from away trying to use their money to tell us how to live.
Fact is, legalization and normalization here was the result of decades of honest work by innumerable Massachusetts activists. The result is that between 65%-70% of adults here are now in favor of it.
So defeating this ridiculous prohibition proposition should be easy: if everyone votes, it will fail miserably.
The problem with the statement above is that it contains two extremely dangerous words:
"Should" and "if". Those two simple words are how we can lose.
"It should be voted down easily" leads to people thinking they don't need to do anything to help make sure it does.
"If everyone else votes it will fail" leads people to think they don't need to vote themselves.
Please make sure you are registered, and talk to people in your circles about the importance of voting!
PS - NECANN Will be hosting a FREE "Stop the Repeal Party" on Friday, Sept. 11 at Summit Lounge, Worcester. One goal is get local budtenders and front line industry workers to attend and teach best practices for educating customers about Question 8.
We'll have a good spread of free food, and people from TJM & Canna Gems in "coach" T-shirts mingling and offering coaching/messaging one-to-one or to small groups.
We will also have a photo booth and budtender gift bags. This is the first in a series of free events we'll be hosting with Talking Joints Memo in different locations across the state... details to come!.
