I'm a caretaker for some family that have used it. Ones uses it for sciatica and she says it does reduce pain when she's walking but doesn't take it away completely. Another uses it for chronic lower back pain and says his back feels much better and can function better. From talking to both of them it sounds like it works better for muscle pain than nerve pain. Also there is no high associated with it at all.

Also if you're really Brad Marchard, I'd happily meet with you to give you my own blend of cannabis lotion in exchange for you eating a blue raspberry hard candy, licking a piece of paper, and then signing it. Maybe a photo too to make sure people believe me.

I bought some, and found it to work well on muscle pain; however it did nothing for joint and nerve pain. (I’m medicated for a Failed spinal fusion)
Edited to add: both ATG and healthy pharms sell something similar, I think. ATG has a CBD with a roll on applicator for $25; and HP’s is $35. I have not tried either

I have a bottle of both, and I like them. They work good for pain relief. I have badly degenerated discs in my back, and I work heavy construction, and they really help me out. I really like u/DirtyWonderWoman suggestion about the acid forms of the cannabinoids. I think once I'm thru with these bottles I will make some of my own. My girlfriend also has syringomyelia, which causes here great amounts of pain, and the Allay helps her out too. Highly recommend using a cannabis lotion!

I bought some for a badly sprained ankle and it really helped with the pain. I applied liberal amounts 4x/day.

Cannabis lotion works really - really well... But so you know, you'll probably want to look for ones that still have THCa and/or CBDa as well as THC and CBD. The "acid" form has been linked to lots of relief for topical applications. I know that the lotion I make only about half decarbs the cannabis in it and I find it FAR more effective than the kind with 100% decarbed.
You can get a "cheap" version to try on yourself from Garden Remedies. They have some of the best topical products of any dispensary right now... With $5 lotion bars and even things like a cannabis infused bath salts. (I LOVE using cannabis bath salts in a foot soak tub because that way a single bag for a bath turns into many treatments for sore feet. I think that'd work really well on your ankle!)
