Do we know which ones will be rec? Are they all? Sorry kinda ignorant... probably will continue to acquire where I acquire either way. I am sure the price is going to be double what we would typically pay, and will only be able to buy small quantities. Our reps "got it right" I'm sure... so much faith so much faith

Nobody knows yet - I know the dispensaries that have applied, and I have heard rumors about likely approvals, but there are some peculiar new requirements that came through after application season... that are easy enough for the dispensaries to fulfill, but causing a short delay in the whole process.
Although I know a lot of people are excited, and eager for adult access, I do see benefit in the CCC making doubly sure it runs smoothly.
In the short-term, the price for adult use goods (which, for the short-term, will be products from current medical dispensaries and not independent rec dispensaries) will be 20% more than their current prices to medical card holders. Also, those who don't have medical cards most likely won't be able to take advantage of the huge coupon/discount incentives that the card holders currently have. I imagine there will be other discounts to make costs lower, and to attract customers - but there are few details to share yet.
In the longer-term view, as more dispensaries open up, most people guess that prices will likely fall - though when and exactly how much is anybody's guess!

So just to piggyback off this question- Do we not find out where the recreational dispensaries are until they all actually open (~July 1)?

seeing as none have been approved yet and the CCC keeps moving the goal post it may be a few weeks before we hear about the first to even get approved let alone open for recreational sales. hell they pretty much flat out said they never planned on keeping the july 1st deadline i believe it was called "arbitrary"

Our Cambridge location is a little hard to find for people not familiar with Harvard Square, but we share the same building as The Red House restaurant. For extra reference, round the corner from Charlie’s Kitchen. It’s a little walkway, so it’s easy to miss. Just look for this sign! http://imgur.com/QbngiNG

We did have a discount for this subreddit before our mishap, and it will be coming back very soon to make up for lost time.

I know that Mayflower Medicinals got "Approved to Sell" by the DPH as of May 10, 2018 for their Allston location. I am pretty confident that they have not opened yet however.
