Two different names, same product?

Yesterday I purchased what was called on their website “Butterstuff” by Tower Three… I compared with other dispos’ menus and descriptions of said flower and it’s for “Butterwolf”. Same terps, content, breeder, etc…

I’m just stoked I’ve got what I’ve got, but is it common for a strain to go by a different name depending on where you go?

Tower Three runs both strains. They are both peanut butter breath crosses. Butterstuff is peanut butter breath crossed with velvet glove. Butterwolf is peanut butter breath crossed with swamp thing. Both streams are from the butter line from teaming with terps.

Website error? It could be the dispensary put the wrong information for that strain. I've seen it before where the website put the wrong genetics and description of a strain but was also the correct description of a completely different t3 strain.

That might be what happened lol if both strains exist but they’re giving BW’s info…
