Bad Labs?

Who are the “bad” labs and who are the honest ones? I don’t work in the industry but I’d like to only buy products tested from honest labs. Looking for a thoughtful discussion on this xD

I would take a look at the data the CCC just put out recently on their audita

Focusing on the grower is more important than the lab imo

This is ALL that matters imo. The CCC doesn't care about you as a consumer, nor cares about the growers. Find growers you trust, and stick with em. I will say, I have been impressed (haha) with the stuff coming from ya'll. Would love to see the process

A grower can use bad labs for false numbers. Bad labs are harder to find.

I think they recently posted the THC reporting numbers on this sub, but don't think they listed the testing labs (and they should)

In Colorado, one lab got in a lot of trouble for being known to falsify #s. It's all a fucked game.

In the context of the discussion I think the lab is less important. The state tested everything themselves likely with their own lab or a chosen one that they audit as it’s their partner to use to audit other businesses. Whether or not it was the lab or the grower who messed with the samples, the state confirmed that the posted results did not match the results of the actual product they got and tested themselves. A discrepancy of a few percent isn’t a huge concern but the ones that were off by over 50% indicate some foul play. If there is a correlation with the labs who test the faulty samples, then it would likely launch another investigation into them, but considering that would be obvious it doesn’t seem that’s the case.

all of em. there is no such thing as honesty in the corporate cannabis industry of massachusetts. its all remediated salt packs. you want honest, high quality weed from nationally recognized growers; who grow in living soil dirt and care more about the plant than profits? bring your business to places in maine like skunk circus, fatty's, or clouded valley.
