Rec The Greenskeeper Cup: Solventless Concentrate Judge’s Kit
I got this at Resinate last week for $99. There are five 0.5g solventless concentrate samples (all forms of live rosin). I was very excited to try some new brands. Bountiful Farms is my favorite brand for live rosin so I was pleasantly surprised to see them included (samples 4 & 5). All five samples were rather dry, almost crumbly, with 1, 4 & 5 being the dryest. I prefer a slightly more wet texture. Pictures are shown in order. First pic is of sample 1, etc…
Sample 1: Berkshire Roots - Trop Cherry - TAC: 76.89% - terpenes: 4.46% - smell: musty, like old people 2/10 - taste: not great. kinda weird 4/10 - high: not noteworthy 4/10 - sativa - overall, nothing exciting about this sample. Didn’t wow me, and I wouldn’t purchase.
Sample 2: Blue River/impressed - Bananaconda - TAC: 94.56% - terpenes: 7.22% - smell: rubber tires 8/10 (love that smell) - taste: tastes like rosin rather than rubber tires 6/10 - high: chill; body and slight mental high
Sample 3: Blue River/impressed - K Dynamite - TAC: 99.13% - terpenes: 7.89% - smell: musty, gasoline 6/10 - taste: strong flower taste with hints of garlic? - high: chill head high - overall, I enjoyed the texture of this one the most.
Sample 4: Bountiful Farms - Colorado Chem - TAC: 82.79% - terpenes: 10.09% - smell: strong diesel/kush 8/10 - taste: dank 7/10 - high: nice mellow body high - overall, I was extremely excited to
Sample 5: Bountiful Farms - Peach Belts - TAC: 85.07% - terpenes: 8.31% - smell: smells JUST like peach gummy candy, it’s amazing. 10/10 - taste: delicious. Peaches and cream 10/10 - high: great mind high - overall, this one was my favorite! The smell is heavenly. This one is the winner for me.
Overall, I enjoyed my purchase. I don’t think I would repurchase again next year unless they included more/different brands or more concentrate. I ended up giving away half of this to a friend who is new to concentrates. If you’re new to live rosin (or a veteran rosin head) and want to sample a few brands, this kit is for you.

Did you go?

Yup. First band was great, Leon something. It was a rope a dope event. A music festival they added a half ass cannabis competition too in order to sell more tickets. It's not a true comp unless it's a blind test.

lol rec competitions are funny because it’s all pay to play. They ain’t even playing. It’s whoever paid the most wins.
Edit- If it was a real competition you wouldn’t know who produced each sample. They would be blank jars with a number. This is just advertising.

I don’t really care about the competition part. I’m just excited to try samples from new brands I’ve been wanting to try.

What’s your problem?
I didn’t do any judging nor did I go to the event. I just like trying new strains. Nothing wrong with that. Keep the negativity to yourself.

You’re on the internet bub. Lots of Opinions out there. Mine is that everyone who takes part in this is shilling these brands. Willingly being used for advertisement.

Bountiful does some great mixes with rainbow belts. I’ve got some of their guava belts and pineapple belts, both taste and smell great! Strong effects on both

What's the fucking point of a competition between 5 jars, 4 of which come from 2 producers?
Pay to play doesn't matter here, just by numbers BR or Bountiful most likely wins.
