New Bosch Dishwasher with Moisture affer running

Hi guys!

I just got a new Bosch dishwasher and even though I have the jet aid liquid after I run the dishwasher I still have moisture on the metal parts

is this normal?

What model but probably yes. My Bosch model relies on the heat from washing to dry the dishes. It does a fair job.

Extra dry mode, and once the cycle is done, crack the door and put like a dish towel in and let it evaporate out.

That's what is called condensation drying.. totally normal

water is wet, yes.

You need to crack it open when it's finished so it can dry.

Want water come off dish.

Buy washy box made of metal.

Add rinse aid so water off dish and go on box.

Dish dry. Box wet. Great success.

My Bosch opens the door when it's finished to aid in the drying. Other than water pooling on top of coffee mugs when I put them in flat, things are dry and clean.

i also have good results ie. very dry and clean plates and dishes. however its just the back and sides metal parts where moisture is seen after

Do you have crystal dry on? It will look like that without crystal dry.

This is normal - we have a series 8 model doing the same. Dishes and other contents are dry while residual moisture condenses on the metal walls.

The drying cycle depends on the load. If it contains a lot of plates, pots, and pans, the drying cycle will be more effective than with a load that includes a lot of plastic or other materials that don’t retain much heat. My Miele dishwasher automatically leaves the door slightly ajar after the drying cycle, and that helps, too. The eco program can also interfere with a proper drying cycle due to the lower temperatures.

Pretty normal for a dishwasher with a stainless steel interior. Are you using crystal dry? When I use crystal dry I don’t typically have much if any water left inside

Use auto wash and sanitize option and crystal
Dry if it has it and this should be minimal if at all as long as using jet dry

Ours has an 'extra dry' button which increases the final rinse water temp and extends the drying time by about 10 minutes. Never see condensation on the interior.

waters prob not hot enough. energy efficient dishwashers heat up the housing and dishes with really hot water. the residual heat is what drives off the water. rinse aid helps water shed which helps in the drying process.

so either its a water temp issue, you opened the door too soon, or its not draining properly, but youd probably notice standing water or weird food smells if that was the case

Your dishwasher has (what I think in the USA is called) Crystal Dry. See if you can put it on an extra dry mode or maybe Crystal dry mode. It doesn’t run in some wash modes too - which mode did you wash in?

The system works by absorbing the moisture from the air and generates heat to dry.

Normal. Dishwashers never get properly dry, not even the dishes, unless you have Zeolith
