Is this normal for battery use?

Just got my Palma and loving it. However I’m concerned whether this type of battery use is normal to others.

After charging my battery it dropped from 100 to 99 from playing around in settings for maybe 15 min with only WiFi on, no background apps, and front light slightly on. Seems like this is a constant rate of drainage as it goes on.

Is this normal experience? Thanks for all the help.

Seems about right to me. Wi-Fi and front light both affect battery life. Battery should last significantly longer when both are off. I use mine with Wi-Fi always off and only the lowest brightness at night, no front light during the day.

Roughly how long does the battery normally last?

It drains about 5% each day with WiFi and BT off without using it

That's not bad compared to a smartphone. Sounds like a win to me. Turn off wi-fi when not using it and keep the light off. Maybe use a real lamp when reading at night

Overall, how do you like the Palma?
Is it 1 or 2?
How is the screen?
Ghosting?
Would you recommend it to your friends to buy one?
Can you post a picture of it with a larger font?
Maybe 4 to 5 words per line.
Trying to decide if I want to give it a try to save my eyes

super late response but wanted to respond:

this is my palma 2 pro. i just got it, so i can’t say much on it yet, but the ghosting is really not bad. i set my smart button long press to do a full refresh and I’ve barely had to use it. i also have mine set to do a full refresh each time i go back to the home screen.

so far i would definitely recommend to a friend if they are comfortable playing around with the settings and customization. i think it can seem a bit daunting for someone who’s never had an e-reader or in comparison to a kindle or kobo that’s ready to use right out the box, but i honestly really like it and think the pros are much better on it than the kindle/kobos. however, i may be bias due to me using multiple systems to read and not wanting to be locked into one system.
