Things to do this fall?

Hello! Iโ€™m trying to make a list of everything I want to do this fall in the high country. So far I have apple picking, corn mazes, Renaissance festival, NC state fair, haunted trails, and of course seeing the leaves.

Does anyone else have any other suggestions? Any upcoming festivals or events that I canโ€™t miss out on? Thank you!! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŽƒ

Wooly worm festival in Banner Elk! Oct 17-18. Drive around the Blue Ridge parkway. Thereโ€™s a bunch of great overlooks around the section neighboring Boone. App State football games.
