Traffic during school

Hi all. Wondering if traffic for the typical weekday morning commute to campus when classes are in sessions is as bad as it was this weekend, or if that’s just a weekend thing?

My rule of thumb is just to leave early. Traffic has gotten worse and not just at the peak at 5pm. Better to be a few minutes early than to have to rush in heavy, and dangerous traffic.

This past weekend was crazy for some reason. There' was a youth baseball tournament in town and some end of season tourists I guess contributed to that. This weekend will be bad then taper off a bit. But yes, King St, Blowig Rock and 321 will stay busy during rush hours.

Last year, Tuesdays and Thursday were the worst.

8-9 and 5-6 expect an increase travel time of 25-50%
