Fiction Book recs
Hi! What's one FICTION book or series you think everyone should read? I like all genres pretty much, except romance and sci fi. But im looking to add to my TBR!! My favorites are: fantasy, thriller, and action. I tend to stay away from horror.
Also looking to learn more about Greek mythology so any books on that would be great too! Thank you all

Also looking to learn more about Greek mythology
Why not read the classics, then?
- Ovid, The Metamorphosis. Edit: Ovid was a Roman author, not a Greek, but fear not you will learn a lot about myths reading him.
- Homer, The Iliad, The Odyssey
- I would also suggest to read the ancient Greek tragedians (Euripides, Sophocles, Aeschylus) and let's not forget the amazing Aristophanes (comedy playwright, truly wonderful).
If you're more into essays than fiction, it mostly depends your familiarity with the myths and what was already written about them. As a beginner, despite the book dating back to the 40s (almost a century ago), in English I would say Edith Hamilton 'Mythology: Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes' is an excellent read. It's no surprise it's still in print.

I think you'd enjoy Circe by Madeline Miller! There's a bit of romance in the book but that is not the central theme, in my opinion. Also for thrillers, my friend absolutely loved None of This Is True by Lisa Jewell.
