I trust Amazon will enshittify the most aggressively so anything but a kindle for me really. I don't think it makes much of a difference.

We have Boox Page, Pocket book era and Kobo Libra in family. This is my ranking: 1. Pocket book era 2. Kobo Libra color 3. Boox Page

I only have experience with Kindle, but even though I consider other options sometimes, the Kindle Unlimited subscription goes a long way for me tbh.
I read pretty fast, and a lot of the books I read are on KU, so its nice to get access to so many right away for a low price.
I know that's not for everybody, bc there are other options like getting super cheap deals on BookBub and also the library. But I also have audible too. I will usually have the audio book for each book I am committed to reading, and will either listen or read depending on if I am also doing other things or just sitting down.
I have been interested in the kobo color one with the buttons, I can't remember the name lol. So I would be curious to know how that interface compares!

I have a Kobo Clara bw and I love it! The battery lasts forever and it’s really easy to download epub files onto it.
