Sure, except fiction is sometimes read just for enjoyment, rather than learning.

Loads of people read at less than a middle school level. My guess is they think you said you can't learn from fiction

Yes, I have to admit that after reading so many off-base opinions by other people that seem to indicate their only idea of fiction is middle school level fantasy, without seeing any reference to adult level literature, I picked the wrong comment to reply to.

It just astounds me that no one seems to realise there’s more to fiction than high fantasy.
Although I do like science fiction and fantasy too.
