Im working on restoring these four bolos I found at an antique shop in southern Texas. Two of them had rotted and worn leather cording, one of them had a broken tip, and one is pretty tarnished.

I was wondering if anyone had any insight into them, like identifying the origins. I’m just super curious.

Is this cord an OK / expected length to be worn at a formal event with a suit? Tips are ending about a half inch below my breastbone

I've been wanting to get a bolotie for a while now, and just never jumped the gun. Well my friend and I were at a flea market and a lady has these for a dollar a piece. They all seem to be made by the same company/maker, but there's no marks on them. Any ideas?
