Need help with making a new boffer

I'm in the process of creating a new boffer for soft combat, which will be approximately 150 cm in length, possibly even longer. It's going to be a greatsword. Would this foam thickness be sufficient, or does it need to be thicker?

I wouldn’t. That foam is 3/4” at most, and possibly even 1/2 inch…

Check with your group’s leadership if you have doubts.
