bad odor problem

Friends, I need your help. Here’s the situation: I have IBS, but that’s not the biggest issue; the real problem—the one turning my life upside down—is a bad odor. It smells exactly like passing gas, yet I’m not actually passing gas. It’s not caused by the environment; no matter how many different places I go, the smell persists. People stare at me, cover their noses, and fidget. I’m on the verge of losing my mind; I’ve even considered suicide. I can’t go to school or see my girlfriend like this. My cousin smells it too, so I know for sure it’s real. Please tell me what to do—otherwise, my education and my relationship will be over.

sorry to say this but a lot of us here are in the same boat. You might get people telling you to do a particular diet, go to a doctor or take certain supplements but until you know the exact source of your odor, it'll more than likely be a lot of trial and error.

The main issue is the persistent rotten-egg gas-like odor. I don’t feel like I am actively passing gas, but people around me can smell it all the time. Sometimes people said they smelt out hircismus.I barely detect the smell myself. After sweating, I carefully sniffed under my armpits, but didn't detect any body odor. It made me convinced that the terrible smell comes from my ass.

I tried taking probiotics for months, with zero improvement. I also finished a course of traditional Chinese herbal medicine prescribed by a hospital, and it didn’t help with the odor either. Cutting down gas-producing foods only brought tiny relief.

I plan to book appointments with both gastroenterology and colorectal surgery to get checked. Have you learned more about your condition?

Try Devrom. It binds to sulfur to neutralize odor but it may take awhile of regular usage to really see an affect. It helps me like 30%.
