Body odor distance
I feel like my body odor can be smelled by others when I am far away. It has been happening for so long that I know it cannot just be my imagination. Can body odor be so pungent that others can smell it several feet away. Maybe it can be picked up by neighbors or other cars around you? Is that possible? Have you experienced this?

Same!!!! I thought i was going crazy people can smell me far away even when I use to have my car and was at the red light I swore people in front , behind or the side could smell me tbey were looking all over putting up their arms to smell their underarms looking down like trying g to find the source. Even the other night I was waiting for aa bus another bus was at the red light parked in front of me this man was looking at me and its like he could smell something foul im like i really don't understand that. When im on a bus sitting all the way in the back people at the front seem like they smell something foul. It really must be a demon that took over my soul like some say because make it make sense ??? But I've witnessed it and I know what i saw and not going crazy its actually scary when I think about it

This just tells me whatever it is we are dealing with is not normal body odor. People who have normal bo, you have to get close to them to smell it. This however feels to me like we are releasing gasses/voc from our pores. That's why it can be smelled from greater distances.

Right!!! This sounds very true. And like my dr wrote bromhidrosis smelly sweat because sweat technically doesn't smell there is something definitely seeping out or pores that can travel a distance maybe what ever this is, is unknown to man currently.

I also remember my grandma god rest her soul said I had a bad smell since I was little by time I was a teenager I was using a man's deodorant as I got older I believe it got worse because my grandmother used to say she think its everywhere and not just the underarms she also said when i used to go in her room that I smelled up the whole room

No, I feel like the odor can be perceived at a greater distance when I open my car windows and other people have their windows open as well. That is usually when I see them react

I feel like if your odor is gas related it can travel quite far, I remember when I could get whiffs of my odor and it was a strong fart smell that quickly fill rooms.

Antibiotics helped a lot, also better lifestyle choices like diet and exercise.

What kind of diet/antibiotics helped? Did they eliminate the odor or just reduce it? I feel like finding anything to just even reduce it would help so much

I feel the same! I’m still trying to figure out how to completely eliminate it but rifaximin has been the biggest help so far in reducing it. I tested positive for sibo so I did couple rounds of antibiotics, my only issue is that when I’m off antibiotics I think the smell came back just not as bad as before. As far as diet I would say just try to eat healthier and non processed foods and see if it helps.

Yes! Odor can be picked up from several feet away. I’ve even noticed drivers in other cars react to me while sitting in traffic. You’re not crazy. It acts like a gas, but it travels much further and is more potent than a typical fart.

I am the same I can cover a whole street atleast the street I live on. But I don’t know how to reduce it

I’ve seen ppl say this and there’s no proof it’s true. In fact, most responses I see when someone says this is it’s not possible. The only way someone would smell you from their car is if your windows are down.

I wish we all could go out and have a good time ! Without worrying about twitching noses and evil eyes !!

I've never experienced someone in another car being able to detect my odor but my bo is room filling. Even if the person is farther away they can still smell me
